The mask is a layer of protection.
If they dropped seatbelt mandate would you stop wearing your seatbelt?

Covid don't care about mandates and laws and freedom and 50% capacity - those are human interventions.

That is a false equivalent. And you know it.

Show us the flawed reasoning

Because a mask in the car with a family which is normally together is not the same as a seatbelt

Jason,

I am NOT in support of anything that does not follow the protocols diligently.

The virus is too “mild” and forgiving so many will take it for granted.

How is the police supposed to know that the people in a vehicle are a family and/or from the same household? A newly married couple may have different addresses on their driver’s permits and the wife may not have taken the husband’s surname. So to the police it could be two non related people in the same car. That “family in the car” argument against wearing masks is nonsensical.

We do actually have precident where private property extends to your vehicle.

The law was ill conceived, poorly executed, and with no was for payment, another cash grab.

yet still police can search it without a warrant.

but when that 'private vehicle' is being used by thousands of PH drivers as public transport then Govt's hands are tied. although they should have addressed the PH issue before independently of covid. but granted that didnt happen the choice is between masking everyone or letting covid run rampant throughout the public transport system.

DPP ORDERS FOR SCOON TO BE CHARGED.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has instructed that businessman Adrian Scoon be charged.

The Express understands that investigators met on Wednesday and, after submitting their findings, were advised to charge Scoon and promoter Shadeed Abdullah jointly with holding a public party and operating a party boat—the Ocean Pelican.

Additionally, Scoon, Abdullah and those who attended the Boxing Day event will face charges of gathering in a public place in excess of ten individuals, in contravention of the Public Health Ordinance.

So you should break laws other than murder ?
The reality is that our lack of implementation of small laws is what allows murders to run rampant.
You think murderers are generally law abiding citizens?
Look at all societies with low murder rates and you’ll see it’s because they enforce law and order across the board.
Actions have consequences and this brat thought he had enough connections to be unaffected

Whats your definition of democracy?

You do realize this is all for show ... Essentially to fool people into thinking they are impartial.

The next step is to set a court date much later in the future so that the public interest is lost then get the DPP/public prosecutors to botch the case. Which leaves the situation open for Scoon to sue for damages.

https://newsday.co.tt/2022/02/26/judge-cops-cant-have-scoons-phone-passwords/

i suppose it would set a precedent for other cases - also why not order him to unlock the phone instead of giving the password? that is like someone having to give their keys to their house as opposed to simply unlocking the door

mRNA from pfizer and moderna can be transcribed to DNA in the nucleus ...
https://www.mdpi.com/1467-3045/44/3/73/htm

I remember when i posted an article about this around a year ago in tuner people said it was impossible and I was a conspiracy theorist. lol

The difference between conspiracy and reality is around 6 to 12 months these days.

The difference between something being impossible and something being possible is huge and then there are people like you that can't grasp the difference.
