Insurance covers certain items. You have to pay for it to have itmaj. tom wrote:Consumer Affair would deal with this? Hope he files a report with them and see what they say.
Thing is, Tropical Express should be operating with insurance and should not have had a problem fixing this. They should lose a lot of customers because of this because it have other skyboxes out there who don't behave so at all. Courier companies are usually very specific about transporting TVs as the talk was right here a few pages ago.
Dont some skyboxes charge extra to crate and insure TVs?maj. tom wrote:Consumer Affair would deal with this? Hope he files a report with them and see what they say.

Guess Seth didnt read the fine print and has to stand his losses.wagonrunner wrote:RE: Tropical Express,
Not all skyboxes services are the same, and he unfortunately got what he paid for.
The bigger issue is why a freight forwarder is allowed to operate like this.
Everything under that black line says they should be avoided.

And the "new" website design is ugly and useless. much preferred the older version.
Same here. Package delivered since the 7th and no update on it yet. Their email that they sent out last week stated that once they receive your item by the 15th (tomorrow) you will receive it on or before Christmas Eve. Now I'm starting to wonder if that will really be true or not.wagonrunner wrote:Websource is royally firetrucking up.
