Microwave part

Postby team 394 » September 13th, 2023, 8:11 am

Hi folks I am looking for a replacement microwave wave guide. Anyone knows where I can find one. Thanks in advance.

You could check some of the appliance repair shops. They may have some laying around from old appliances.

I had to replace mines a few years back. Some repair shops had, but the sizes were too small. I ended up pruchasing on Amazon. Very cheap there. They come in squares. Very easy to cut with a utility knife to suit the size and geometry of your part.

The entire wave guide, or just the wave guide cover? The latter would be easy to find and cut to size because it's mica sheet.

Your best bet is what's said above. If it's a Frigidaire or Whirlpool it may have new parts locally from one of the appliance repair places, but an entire waveguide won't be cost effective to replace compared to a new appliance.

Thanks to Major Tom and Stoick for your feedback. It is really the wave guide cover that I am looking for. I am guided by your response.

I had the same issue with my old microwave a few months ago! I searched everywhere online and couldn’t find the right wave guide either. I ended up reaching out to the team at vanproappliance.ca since they’d helped me with a fridge repair before. They were super helpful. Visit site for more details. They didn’t have the exact part in stock, but they tracked it down for me and even walked me through how to install it over the phone so I didn’t mess anything up. Saved me a lot of time and frustration, and I didn’t have to buy a new microwave.
