Public roads means any where the public has reasonable access too.

I think somebody they post that here some years ago.

And that explain why cars by gulf city got charged in a car show even when on a flat bed.
It ws intended to be on the road, so should be fitted to be on the road.

Me, I find all them. Ting is nonsense.
If I was making the rules, u drive slalom course at a certain speed, u brake before a certain distance, no parts fall off or bresk, nothing leaking, u good to go.

Saw vehicle transfers mentioned in this thread - anyone could say for certain if the transfer fee payable to LO is cash only, or they only take card/linx?

Or do they give the option to pay with both?

LO doesn't care who pays it - once they get it.

That determination is between the buyer and seller - or if you decide to split the fee amount between the 2 of you.

If you can, update here please which office you went to and what payment is accepted. May have to transfer a vehicle later this week.

Buyer officially supposed to pay, but is really ehat u all agree to... As stated above.

In the psst, i used to see cars selling with 'transfer included' in the ad.

it's in the sellers interest for the transfer to be completed / paid.
the buyer usually pays for the transfer (included in the price of the vehicle)

Recently did a transfer in tobago, entire process inclusive of collecting cert copy took approximately 2 hours. It's best I go there all the time yes.

Just make sure all your documents in order and you good to go

Transfer is a matter discussed upon the sale.
If time has elapsed since the sale, or it changed hands a few times - it's in your best interest to pay the fee and sort the paperwork.

transfer is in the interest of the seller.
which is why it is normally included in the price of the vehicle.
buyer pays for it, seller makes sure it happens

Same guys who held numerous secret meetings with the transport commissioner?
Same guys who only study their vans? And install shops, but in the name off the community?
Same guys who had this document drafted to make sure their 1% vans were included down to the last measurement and modification?
Same guys who had private inspection meetings outside of LO with the team cuz they know they vans dont meet any legal spec?

Ok then...
Carry on....

nah man Kronik yuh wayyy off base there

In many of the the off road whatsapp groups they use to regularly share the information and ask who is interested in being part of the meetings and convos , eventually a few guys stepped up because who have time to go a set of meetings with license officers

but its no way like how you describing it.

if yuh wanted yuh voice heard no one was stopping you, but don't expect other people to voice your concerns or needs if you not taking the time to do it yourself.

yup, they were calling for people to join the discourse from early. Don't hate on those who stepped up, even if they might have some skin in the game.

I remember seeing Harry from Grande as part of the "committee " with license office. He is well known for several vehicles within the off-road community and should be a good person to go by for advice.
