Reading your previous posts you did not say what route you took to be able to work legally in the US. Can you elaborate on this?leavingforgood wrote:I can't believe it's been almost a year since I last commented in this thread. How to leave for good.AlphaMan wrote:Back to the purpose of the thread.
Leaving Trinidad for Good.
How is it done?
Preparations to be made before?
-Selling everything you have in Trinidad?
-Getting multiple credit cards/ whatever forex you can get your hands on.
-Booking a hotel room before you land.
-Finding a way to earn money once you arrive.
Did I miss any steps?
Jamaica is under Caricom, which means once u have a degree or much needed Skills then migration is very easy.paid_influencer wrote:zoom, what you think of the following countries:
-guyana
-jamaica
-panama
looking at them it seems the easiest/most straightforward to make money (and also get residency in the process). guyana has oil money out the rass, jamaica has a more liberalised economy (thank you IMF), easiest to do business, and the largest population in the english speaking caribbean. panama has basically everything necessary already laid out but you have to learn a foreign language (same with brazil)
the white countries all let you work there if you have education but will drop you if your particular employer/massa drops you. and tbh it seems easier to make money in an oil booming country like guyana than in a white country

From reports there are an increase of expats moving to Jamaica. Lands are slowly been brought up by Expats.
Panama is a money laundering country and is controlled by Zionists, one of the most corrupted countries by the US & Zionists. Stay away from Panama.
Guyana is a hit & miss.
For me I would look at South American countries, cause immigration is very easy. I think Argentina is that after 2 yrs you get Permanent resident.
Central America would be Costa Rica.
But the main thing is how would u survive in these countries are u an employee or a Trade/ business person.

You need to have money. With money you can survive everywhere. It's just that simple. Don't ask how to make money or I will tell you to go Murray Street and learn from the pros.

Not just have money but in a certain non TTD currency too which makes it more difficult.

Just have a credit card with a high limit or multiple credit cards. Simple. Of course if you move to a HCoL country, you'll be in a bind, but move to somewhere cheap and you can live it up with 1000 USD a month.

After 2015 quality of life indicators was headed downhill. I like coming back but the vibe is not same.zoom rader wrote:Travel and no Forexwtf wrote:For the persons who have traveled and lived outside of Trinidad for a while.. How sweet is Trinidad? How easy do we have it? And be honest.![]()

Do you actually know anyone who got those Chinese scholarships to make that statement?
I recently spoke to two individuals from Grenada who got those government scholarships and their biggest issue was having to learn the Chinese language as all their classes and exams were in mandarin. None of those issues that you listed were given by the individuals as issues to them.
