the true puppet masters in washington don’t go about boasting what they doing
they would have their lobbyists working quietly in the background to make sure their chickens hatch
Is he a lobbyist? Or have they hired lobbyists at great cost, which the donkeys will bray that Forex is being wasted.

WASHINGTON, Nov 27 (Reuters) - The United States is imposing sanction on 21 senior Venezuelan officials for their role in suppressing protests after a presidential election in July, a senior administration official said on Wednesday.
Washington says President Nicolas Maduro falsely claimed victory in the vote in what it called a subversion of democratic norms. The United States says opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez won and refers to him as the president-elect.
"(This) is not merely about holding Nicolas Maduro accountable," an administration official told reporters.
"Officials who are acting unlawfully to uphold his regime based on repressive tactics will also find themselves in the cross hairs of these sanctions."
In September, Venezuela's government rejected a United Nations human rights report criticizing repression of political opponents and children in the wake of the elections, saying it was a sign of coercion against the state.
The United States would also be imposing visa restrictions on a number of officials associated with Maduro, the administration official said.

Hello dogg,

It's not that we praying that the deal falls through how many of us were pleading that Rowley did not put all his eggs in one basket, now look at what is happening. This was expected. I'm sure there is no PLAN B, we in shite street. Imagine bashing kamla for no plan but ask Rowley what his plan would be in the likelihood of this deal falling apart

It just reiterates what a dire hole we're in as a country! Hoping for Dragon to fail is a win for no one except political extremists.

Access to Dragon and other Venezuelan gas fields seems less likely now.

Trump revokes Maduro’s oil license, says he’s taking too long to take back deportees

President Donald Trump said Wednesday he is revoking the license that allows the Venezuelan government to export oil to the United States, claiming that the South American country has failed to take back Venezuelan deportees from the U.S. with the speed agreed to a few weeks ago by strongman Nicolás Maduro.

“We are hereby reversing the concessions that Crooked Joe Biden gave to Nicolás Maduro, of Venezuela, on the oil transaction agreement, dated November 26, 2022, and also having to do with Electoral conditions within Venezuela, which have not been met by the Maduro regime,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.

“Additionally, the regime has not been transporting the violent criminals that they sent into our Country (the Good Ole’ U.S.A.) back to Venezuela at the rapid pace that they had agreed to. I am therefore ordering that the ineffective and unmet Biden ‘Concession Agreement’ be terminated as of the March 1st option to renew,” he said.

The U.S. Treasury Department had recently renewed a license for oil giant Chevron to pump oil in Venezuela. Initially granted by the Biden administration in November 2022, the license has become an important source of income for the Caracas regime. Chevron’s production out of the South American country averages about 220,000 barrels per day, amounting to about a quarter of the country’s current output of 900,000 barrels per day.

Prior to the Trump Administration the deal was approved by the US. Why would we be sanctioned for something we had approval for?
