wtk b15 radiator problem

could anyone give some assistance i have to keep adding water to my radiator every morning i had i rebuilt about 7 months ago and i worked fine until a couple weeks ago i noticed the water level keeps droping wiht the temp gauge reading half as usual

when u get up on morning check under the car and see if you have a leak.

Compression test.
what you are experiencing at worst can be the symptom of a damaged head-gasket.
why did you have to rebild one 7 motnhs ago? did the radiator you had then fail?

there are no signs of leaks and it was rebuilt cause the plastic top had a slight crack on it , could the thermostat have any thing to do with this

thermostat - i can't say.
my experience was like yours, car working fine, temperature guage normal at 1/2 mark. yet consuming water. perhaps 20z every 100km. was even withstanding radiator pressure test, was staying at 15-19psi without dropping. then one day, say a miniscule bit of white matter in the rad. (looked like the white of an egg that's being boiled), and that was oil. HEADGASKET

unfortunately,
when taking head to shave, found a crack there as well. so had to swap.

i solved the problem by taking out the thermostat and changing a hose clamp and it worked fine since then . thanks a lot for the help

so therfore it was leaking then?

so why u takeout the Thermostat..was it causing the leak?

please reinstall the thermostat

the thermostat rubber on the inside was worn and brittle so i`ll have to get a new one any how , and the hose had a little leak and was dropping on the fan so it was hard to spot the leak
