losing power at 6000rpm sr20det

I have a problem haunting me for weeks this is one of my last attempts,
I have a FWD sr20det silvertop with a stock in tank fuel pump, I upgraded the pump to a Walbro GSL 602-2 External fuel pump Now am losing power from 6000 rpm here's a list of things i tried
Changing the outlet of the gas tank for gravity feed to the fuelpump
re wiring the external pump with the carrect guage wire'
changing spark plugs
changing the new fuel pump
cleaning injectors
changing gas filters

changing Knock Sensor
blowing out gas lines
we took out the rail and pulsed it
The last thing to do is put back the original pumpbut that means redoing over the tank again and am not sure if it would work

what do you mean changin the pump? tried another??

Sounds like the pump failing and not supplying the gas when its needed.

did u install an adjustable regulator to control the flow of the higher flowing new pump?

is the engine breaking up (spluttering) when u lose power?

same thing i'm thinking. The problem may now lie with the regulator. Also did you change boost levels etc? I'm guessing this is on the stock ecu too?

some things to check:
1. regulator
2. air flow sensor.... ( it may not make any sense,.... but jus check the jack to see if its slack or anything )
3. i would also say check the boost levels, maybe wastegate stickin? i dunnno, check it n c... external wastegate or stock?

Regulator comes to mind also check your tps and MAf voltages, get a wideband on there and see what's going on when that rpm comes around or have someone check it while you drive, to know if there is too much fuel that needs adjusting or too little fuel. Hope you are not using the stock rubber intake piping, they tend to suck in on higher rpm causing the hose to collapse and the intake to suffer from lack of air, get a mandrel bend and doctor up the intake properly.

try hooking up a fuel pressure guage and run it out to up by the wiper arm. drive it and see if fuel pressure dropping when you start to suptter

was gettin dis same problem wit a ca18. changed fuel pump an it stop sputterin plenty. the injectors needed servicin also. if u want a gud reliable pump check maroods in marabella. ask dem for the sr20 fuel pump. it blue in colour.
