Problem: Gas coming out the exhaust with white smoke RB20.

Postby Naka » August 20th, 2008, 10:28 am

Yeah guys, I have an rb20det, we took offf the fuel rail and injectors, to notice the injectors seal on two are broken. Then I noticed Gas coming out the exhaust, white smoke and irregular idling. Could this because fo the injector seals alone? or it sounding like more probs? Link me.

check the coilpacks, they could be the reason for ur irregluar idle and gas out the exhaust. can't see injector seals creating that problem. seems one or two cylinders may not be getting their spark on
its the only thing i can think of at the moment...

white smoke and gas out the exhaust does not make sense.....
white smoke signifies water is being burnt.......too much fuel is signified as black smoke....
alluh sure is not water spitting out the muffler??????? if that is the case check yuh head gasket, block and head to see if it warp.....if turbo is watercooled, check seals to see if its not leaking into the exhaust or even the intake side......
