I agree
Blame the scrutineers for forcing him to run his car without a cage.

While you sit there smiling at yourself for that witty comment, think for a minute....if the scrutineers had pulled up on his ass and shut him down for CLEARLY the lack of any proper saftey equip for under 12 sec bracket ( we wont even mention 10's) he might be walking around right now, not needing blood and what not.
All that was needed was one level head to actually do their job!

I agree
the scrutineers should have have done their job
but as a former scrutineer myself, everybody comes with their half assed prepared cars and go and cry to the promoter or race director with a promise to fix it for next time.

but in all fairness the first muffler bearing with the level head should be the muffler bearing behind the wheel.

full agreement there. why should the buck be passed?
the driver is suffering the consequences of decisions he made.
let's say the marshals did turn him away from the event, and in typical fashion he launches the car on the public roads with the same result, involving some other road users for emphasis ................who to blame? the marshals for not letting him run at their event?

seems the other thread with this incident is gone, cuz I was looking for a specific comment made about the builder of the car, 'chowtee'

When the speculation was going on about which car crashed, somebody indicated it could not be the 240z built by 'chowtee', because he builds proper race cars to a high standard. At least one other person asserted his confidence in said individual's racecar building skills.......

now............look at the sticker on the lowere rear of the car and see what name is there..............

So my question now is, how the fcuk do you people determine how prepares cars to a high standard??????? You all endorsing someone who clearly is another mango tree mechanic turn race engineer.............worse yet, I pity the fools who accept these andorsements and think they going to the best in the business...........fcyuk
