well the pit entrance is right after that high speed corner, my guess is that it was a case of lift off oversteer, the driver tried to correct it, ended up turning the car sideways and into the barricade

it would make sense but pit lane starts on the straight b4 the corner so he had to have been doing some numbers

for 1992 design car the body soaked up the impact well, the person on the right front seat would have survived. Look at the front nose cut and rear cut, it can be used in another FD. Front and rear suspension could be ok too as well as engine, tranny and fuel tank.

1 less FD though :evil:
