check Boss Motors right after Double Zee in bamboo they have a black front cut looking like a sdm.

and there are a good few places on the inside have CS front cuts, u jus have to take time and go asking everone.

Anyone can recommend a good place to get some of those aluminium finish mats to fit the CS3?

Not cutting you off slick, but guys we need clarification on the Ds gear aka Down Shift/Drive Sporty.

The general consensus here is not to cross 100kmh in Ds.

Now i'm sure this is because we all assume that while in Ds only gears 1, 2 and 3 are being engaged.
But this is not so!

Ds actually shortens the gear ratios for all the cvt's gears.
In other words from gears 1-5 or 1-6 depending on your application.

Lets open discussions. I jus reached 160km in Ds rpms was merely 5700.

PS:
1) I think we all know that the CVT transmission is NOT just one gear as in popular belief.
2) I wouldve tested this theory via the tiptronic but the gears traverse to quickly by the time I come out of Ds then into D then into +/-.
3) Pardon me if this was already discussed somewhere or assumed.

when i was auto i did ~140 in Ds
it really does improve acceleration at the expense of really heating up the tranny that is what most ppl wary of

Once I floored it on Ds when entering the highway and acceleration was really good, reached up to about 140km/hr really fast.

You lucky you have tiptronic on your CS3 idelmind...I don't got none

I found the car pulled best in "D"... I only used "DS" as a downshift to assist in slowing down!

Boss motors dont carry singapore parts. Ive pretty much checked most places in the bamboo, all i could find is the japanese version not the singapore.

As for the Ds discussion its just as fras said. My Cedia moves very slow in ds and even slower in L.
So id be surprised if i reach over 100km in Ds unless going down a hill.
I use ds for going up or down hills, using it on the flat will strain the transmission.

venum, according to the manual Ds is only supposed to be used when ascending or descending small inclines and L is only to be used when ascending or descending steep inclines.. apparently they dont advise you drive the car normally for long periods of time on flat roads..may damage tranny overtime :(

believe me slick, Ds runs better :!:
nothing can beat the ecu's calculations.
all tiptronic offers is the manual feel.

i proved this @ Dex, i did better times in Ds

wow i cant believe you guys never monkeyed around with Ds.
mind you the cvt's ecu has a learning curve eh so it would feel sluggish the first time u try.

but still i get real pull in Ds both in pull off and down shift assist

Wow! Didn't know that...just figured the tiptronic would have been faster...guess I was wrong...

Back to my original question...where can I get some nice aluminium finish mats to fit snugly in the CS3?
