Definitely, and the best part is that it's light,I can easily push it up a little or down if I need to.
All pictures taken from the 13th May to present, were shot with this setup.
So that would be from the butterfly on the pink flower up to the spider with prey photo.

The first set were from my yard, some from a lot of land in bamboo settlement No.2 and a few from up Chancellor.
I really want to go Asa Wrights, but that road is scary.

Forested areas?

Postby Sharon_S » May 29th, 2009, 1:41 pm

Anybody on here know of any safe forested paths that might have insects and bugs etc in Trinidad.
I emailed Asa Wright's ,I was told I could not wander off the paths but they might be able to provide a guide for me,but I just wouldn't feel comfortable trying to shoot something knowing someone is bored out of their skull and waiting for me to get on with the shots.
Here is one I found yesterday in the Bamboo.
It's a Cyphonia clavata - believed to be an "ant-mimicking" treehopper.

Well sharon, you'll need to look into more reserves away from places they use pesticides which is amkign it really hard.
The tucker valley has alot of strange bugs but you should really take someone with you even if they are bored for safety or go with some of the people eager to learn here on tuner.
