WTK: Air Condition Place

Hey

Does anyone know of a good Air Condition place that could gas up with an R12 refrigerant substitute .

I heard they dont make R12 anymore does anyone know what the replacement is called and where to get it regassed.

R14 is the replacement and where you from .....so we could tell you where to go thats close to you

or you can get R12 but is does cost like twice the usual amt!!

Anywhere in chaguanas, curepe, Tacarigua, St Augustine, Aranguez good for me.

I dont know South too good though.

it have a place in eldorado after d rim shacks on the left hand side when heading POS you could check there its small so look good thing its named javair or something so just before FRANKS

Give ryanair at trincity a call. You should find the number in the phonebook. Theya re a bit pricey though so call for a price. They know what they are doing but if it is just a gas up you looking for then you can ask around for a best price.

gas up alone? the r 12 may be a lil expensive pm me more info on the car's ac and age

gasparillo (as soon as yh enter ) have ah big place with a bigg sign saying R12 gas ...check them !!

the newer gas is usually r134a or r414b,

it might be better to just do the conversion than paying 2wice de price...THey usually just have to change the compressor oil (POE Oil) ..and regas with the new gas

^^not totally correct ...the R12 compressors can run R12 and R13 in older vehicles but if the compressor is built strictly for R134(R13) then gassing with the R12 will damage it very fast (usually 6mts time)....even if you put plenty oil it will damage the compressor eventually but it will run but for how long !!!

check Massif right of Monroe Road flyover, as soon as you start to enter Monroe road form the flyover, his place is on your right hand side. If u pass Amina's on your right then you gone to far.

check Spring Cool it's on the street right off the highway by grand bazaar, that little side street over the road from nestle when heading west right before the lights. its the street on the left, he'll hook u up

if your ac needs gassing up then you may have a slight leak
i know a guy in trincity he is very good he fixed my ac over a year ago and he is reasonable if you interested pm me for his #
