automotive double sided tape should work well..........but when I had replaced my windshield in my last car I saw the installers use some type of glue to fix the mirror to the glass.....

i had the problem of anytime i turn up the bass in the car the mirror falls off, i got an oem glue at the homestore, it consists of an activator and the glue, i'll get the name later when i'm home, wasn't expensive, think i bought an extra one.

The brand is permatex, got it at the homestore for $14.49, works really good. It's one use only, but believe me if you use it properly the first time you won't need to use it again.
