i looked at the internals but i can vividly remember my 7k2ds had 4 power supply torroids, in the pics there of the new i only saw 3?

The 7k2d"s are the old version................stestom released the evolution series only in the 7k ............ supposed to have more power

i believe those 7KWe is rated at 7200wrms@ 12Volts( not the 16volt version)

The 7k2e is the newest version which stetsom released.

I had the 7kd, which was then replaced by the 7k2d and now there is the 7k2e

The 7k2e is 4 inches smaller in size and does similar power.

The 7k2d on proper electrical is the most powerful of all those amps though...

They also made a special edition (25 pcs) 12 volt 7k2d with 7 extra capacitors. These are very rare(and expensive) and they do 9700 rms @ 12 volt.

mine have 16 capacitors in it...they usually come with 8 from what i know :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

yours is rated to do 7000rms @ 12 volts, compared to 7000 rms @ 13.6 volts for the normal 7kd model :D
