Buzz.. you cannot charge someone VAT if you are not VAT registered.. it's against the LAW of the Land..

Only if your company is making 200K a year and can show proof of that, then you can become VAT registered.
And charge VAT to your Customers

ram, please tell me why are businesses VAT reg'd?
according to u, it doesn't matter if u buy a ph card,(or anyother item that carries vat) from a vat reg'd place or not
then ALLLLLLLLLLLLL businesses should pay VAT.

u didnt ans my question :(

1st u look for the vat reg # (6 numbers) on the bill
then u look to see if the item is vatable or zero rated
tip: if u r vat reg'd i suggest u buy alllllllll ph cards from VIA
u will notice the VATreg # on the bottom & let an accounting firm do ur vat.

if u were talking to ph cards only, why r u arguing with me, i told u, u r correct all ph cards carry vat. i was talking about claiming vat. so idk y u start on me
