Saw that in one of the games yesterday as well.

Germany did not play well and they lucky those Serbians was not clinical in front of goal because they throw away a good bit of chances. Not quite the weak Australian defense of the first game eh.

people like u should only watch tennis (no contact sport)

u obviously never kick a football

that was not a 2nd yellow offense.....NO WAY
Podolski throw it away and Serbia was good...but the ref killed the first half with ridiculous calls

The WC low scoring but surprises happening left and right. All teams have to be on their toes. Most important thing is to score your goals when you get the opportunity.

I like Germany, but in all fairness, Serbia deserved that win.
Germany played sheit and Podolski really dissappointed.

Player running with the ball and you tackle from behind making contact with the player and not the ball you run the risk of a yellow. Worse yet the referee give you a first yellow for a similar offense, you see the referee moving dread and you do the same damn thing again. I would expect that play from a young inexperienced player not an experienced striker who has been In WC's before and who looking to beat Ronaldo's goal scoring record. Football is not only about skills, goal and defense, you have to have some common sense too. When you are on one yellow you have to be careful, that is common sense.

And axe I sure I have played in my life and watch more football than you (so yes I have kicked a football already :D ). I know if I was in Klose position I would have been cautious in my tackling and not risk a second yellow as most experienced players with common sense do.

Don't vex with me :D and don't blame the referee, vex with Klose lapse of judgment and Podolski missing the penalty and Germany not playing a good game.

Axe, don't feel I don't like Germany. I like to see good and smart football played by the world's top players and they could be from any side.

even though the ref messed up and changed the game with that card ,Serbia deserved that win...., they should have made it at least 3-0 though... Im a big germany fan, i took off my t shirt after that loss...(till the next match :):))
The Serbia team did their homework and were much more prepared than germany...., all these big teams are underestimating their opponents. In a technologically advanced age all these teams have the resources to give their team the edge in their game preparations...The rankings dont hold up as much as it did a few decades ago...Preparation ,mental focus and the ability to change your strategy on the fly can make all the difference ...i hope germany learned their lesson

yep all the stats and norms don't mean jack when the game start , anything can happen , but from evidence so far a lot of big teams may not make the 2nd round this time around

how can u say 3-0?
Serbia hit the post 2 times, Germany as well and Germany miss a penalty

3-0 is an unreasonable statement

It could have been 4-2, or 4-3.
But game don't win on missed chances. If that was so then Spain would have beat d Swiss easily.
