I dunno, am I making sense to anyone here?

same can be said for most, Bulls, lakers, manchester and brazil fans.

Back the top teams when comvenient.

EH?
Man Utd and Brazil have the BIGGEST fanbase in football in the world...its been proven time and time again...
Just look at how many men came straight out and said they're supporting Brazil at the start of this thread - its a trend from the days when Pele and co showed off their beautiful football, and its been passed from generation to generation, just as it is with many clubs...

To prove the utter foolishness he's talking:

Lakers-when last has the Lakers' arena NOT been sold out...yeh even when the team was utter garbage, almost always at capacity.
Brazil-biggest international fan base of any footballing nation...been so for over half a century.
ManU-biggest fan base in the world of any club, has been for almost 2 decades...

Let me set this straight

Worksux i agree with the point u made about men stating from the start that brazil is their favorite and what not. I am not talkin about die hard supporters. However the point RASC said was:

You ever notice that the majority of people who support Spain...are either:

1. Women
2. People who watch/play sports occasionally
3. Casual football fans.

Ask any woman or non-die hard football fan who they supporting and they would more than likely call a big name club or country......why?

Not because they accustom watching football or basketball but of the wide scope of influence these side have:
-The media
-Their friends
-They hear everyone talking about them

Its easy to jump on the bandwagon. Mind you i am NOT TALKING ABOUT THE DIE HARD SUPPORTERS who are accustomed backing their sides.

So your argument about who sells out arenas and has the biggest fan base is NULL & VOID!!!

Could u even tell me how you drew that conclusion?? Brazil would definitely have more casual football fans and women supporters than Spain...& in the same breath they would have more real supporters than other countries simply because of the scope or magnitude of their influence. They same would apply to Barca, Manchester Untd, Lakers etc..

Next time u draw a conclusion Mr RASC. Think before you talk and keep your arguments for or against on topic!!! :?

all the sheit talk aside
Spain will prevail!

When the spain/brazil final is played on the 11th, Spain will run circles around them!
Brazil style of football is attacking and with spain's midfield they will open up holes in brazil they didnt know they had!!!

I must admit Holland playing some good football , and now Arjen Robben back on the scene , so it would be a tough game but I dont see them overcoming Brazil's flair , but as we have seen before anything can happen on the day and referees this rounds 1dunce .

Real drama in the Nigerian Camp.

Nigerian president suspends team after poor showing.

England's beaten players may consider they got off lightly. The price of failure for Nigeria's World Cup squad is a two-year ban – imposed by their president. The team has been suspended from international competition for a prolonged licking of wounds after their humiliating exit from the finals in South Africa.

^^ Same principle should apply to West Indies Cricket, ban them from competing internationally until they are up to standard instead of continuously embarrasing themselves.

a point can be made that only through competing against quality opposition that their standard can be raised, but it seems they lack the basic foundation knowledge and mental toughness needed to compete on an international scale.

Anyback back on topic, i thought governing bodies of a country were not supposed to get involved in the affairs of their own Football Association.
