when can i get 14 guage wire to buy since that's what i started with?
went to circuit zone and asked for 14 guage for my HT, d man tell me i shouldnt be so specific and jus ask for red and black speaker wire. i walked out at that point
X_Factor wrote:^ where u located?
make sure its a good brand of wire because the cheaper types have more insulation than copper
so be careful to look and the wire itself and not how it looks with the insulation on
a good quality 16 gauge wire will be sufficient as well and u can get 12g for the sub

chances are his sub is powered so he will be using a coax/RCA type subwoofer cable
Technical Details
* Featuring 6mm High Density Krysta-Line Glass, not only a stately and beautiful material, because of its high density, also helps eliminate unwanted vibrations from the structure of the loudspeaker, therefore providing perfect sound reproduction
* The use of excellent quality drivers together with our patented system "ADT" (Acoustic Dampening Tube) allows proper functioning of a loudspeaker in a non-dampened structure, guarantees a quick, sharp bass and a mid-range reproduction
* The Treble Frequency is reproduced by a new generation of Neodynium Magnet Tweeters, delivering a very smooth and delicate sound. The Crossovers, enhanced by the new "Acculiner" technology, control the tuning of these exceptional driver units
* 2 way-3 speaker design. Recommended Amplifier for best results, between 40 and up to 150 Watts: Peak power performance 300 Watts: Impedance (over/min) 8/4 Ohms, Efficiency (283V/1m) 89dB
* Frequency response (+/- 3dB) 48Hz - 28Khz, Tweeter (neodynium) 8" silk dome, driver unit bass/midrange 1 x 6", Tunable passive radiator compression for room variances. Iguasco's Dimensions 34" tall, 10" wide by 10" deep and 31 lb's each

WUT???
34" tall, 10" wide by 10" deep
Those are terrible simensions for a speaker cabinet. And how is the passive radiator tunable? I'm guessing it is somewhere at the bottom of the enclosure. Neodymium just makes a magnet smaller and lighter, not necessarily better. Lots of marketing hype there.

i'm doing the MCACC test and it's detecting that one of the speaker's phase may be inverted even though i'm sure the wiring is correct. suggestions?

easier if you pay Duane $1000 for him to come and set it up for you
