i never expected such a response....i used to be on flight im a lot as judesman uploaded ai traffic in avaim and flightsim

i mainly worked in fs2002 and 2004

i never bothered to buy flightsim x as i heard abot the performance problems you get

one of my aims was to uild a simpit or cockpit set up... then again why put out all that effort when you can try real flying.

anyway i into avaition a lot and i might start back flight sim once i get a good pc system

maybe i can get some practice by u guys who have a good set up

Used to play games like Falcon 3/4 on pc, even have vague memories of F-15 strike eagle for C-64. Another one that I liked was Flanker 2, even though I found it difficult.

Flanker 2 was decent yeah, played the Falcons, including Allied Force.

One Jet Combat sim I really liked was Total Air War, by DID. Company stopped making games and stuff, like all the rest.

The jet combat genre has fizzled out.

I heard that they are bringing out a new 'Arcade' style survey sim called HAWX that looks very interesting. Hopefully it will provide a renaissance of sorts, but I doubt it when games are costing upwards of 20 million to make these days.

Apart from it's reportedly stunning graphics this "new" Flight Simulator from MS is supposed to be optimized for multicore processors (unlike FSX) for a much smoother gaming experience.

But many fear this will be a watered down version of FS, giving users more arcade type experience at the expense of realistic flight dynamics.

This should be a good opportunity to put a lot of that speculation to rest.

On a serious note I hear iPlay Cafe have a real bad sim, its like a full room, dual controls, configurable to many different aircraft even helicopters and it affordable as well. But they not open yet though. As soon as they are I'm going to check it out.

up to this day, i still cant get the plane to push back left or right.... sighsssss... apparently i wasnt selected for the flight 2012 beta .... any help on the push back issue? they say shift+p+1 but that only sets push back and opens up the front panel
