Trinidad is too small for anyone to feel alone and feel that there is no point.

Depression + Gun= other dead ppl......I hope you guy see the seriousness of this?.......
by the way........was he the holder of a FUL? ......or was he a member of the protective services?
How do you mean a man doesn't buy a gun to kill himself and depression and a gun = other dead people.
You mean to tell me no one in this world ever bought a gun to kill themselves? Or that every depressed person with a gun is a threat to other people? Do some research, gather your statistics then post things like this. You must be a professional psychologist!
And he was an intelligent person and premeditated his death, deciding his method to kill himself. Based on another victim of depression and suicide that he related to, a gun was his choice as that person also used a gun. Not all indians drink gramazone (sp) when they are suicidal!

lady, i will leave you to grieve...
StephansSister wrote:I apologise for that and it's uncalled for. I was just pointing out that steriotyping is not to be applied to every situation. Just as that is a stereotype that is inaccurate, likewise the one about guns.

Death is death, regardless of by whose hands is it dispensed. Whether you thought he was a cool dude or not, any self-respecting human being would not speak ill of the dead.
SW clearly was battling his own demons and felt there was no other way out, this is NOT for us to decide or discuss since any points raised would be moot anyway...the deed has already been done.
However, the bottom line is that regardless of character, someone is grieving, someone suffered a loss, someone's hurting really bad right now, despite what some of you may think of the man.
Let's not lose sight of that.
If you know of anyone who may be thinking of taking their own life, do your part to help find other paths out of despair. Don't let them go down this road. I'm sure you won't be having a fun time fending off negative comments as seen in this thread.
