iPhone developer and hacker ih8sn0w has released Sn0wbreeze 2.2 (aka PwnageTool for Windows) for creating iOS 4.2.1 custom firmware files on Windows. Just like the recently released PwnageTool for Mac, Sn0wbreeze 2.2 also incorporates the kernel based GreenPois0n exploit for untethered 4.2.1 jailbreak.

The highlight feature of Sn0wbreeze 2.2 is the new “Baseband Preservation Mode”. This new mode enables current iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G users to preserve their baseband while upgrading to iOS 4.2.1 so that they can unlock using existing version of Ultrasn0w.

Also new in Sn0wbreeze 2.2 is the ability to play Pac-Man game to keep you busy while the custom IPSW is being built for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, along with the ability to change boot logos, thanks to GreenPois0n RC5/6 exploit. Fix for iBooks is also included.

Supported devices:
    iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G
    iPod touch 4G, 3G, 2G
    iPad

Simply follow the instructions posted here (from Step 1 onwards; Spirit2Pwn is not needed; Select iOS 4.2.1 IPSW file instead of 4.1) to jailbreak the above mentioned devices on iOS 4.2.1 untethered using Sn0wbreeze 2.2.

Download Sn0wbreeze 2.2 for Windows
Download iOS 4.2.1 for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
Download .NET Framework 3.5 (required to run Sn0wbreeze)

Hey i have an iphone 3GS.My wife was using it and accidently upgraded the iOS to 4.2.1 on iTunes. I got the phone to open with a at&t sim card but is there any way i can unlock it without upgrading to the iPad BB? Can I downgrade the iOS from 4.2.1? Oh the phone was jailbroken using GP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you are on 4.2.1 tethered right?
what Sully suggested is a piece.
Just use GP to untether you and redsn0w can be used to INSTALL Cydia. do not use monte along with GP to jailbreak. redsn0w is not needed however once u get Loader on it should be able to install Cydia. :)

Hey Guys,
Not sure if this has been answered before, but I could not find any info on it. Has anyone successfully tethered an iPad to use a blackberry's internet connection? I have jbroken my iPad and installed iBluever but cannot get it to work. iBluever connects to the phone without a problem but when i try to use safari I get an error saying that tunneling through port 80 is not allowed. My carrier is Digicel.

Steve Jobs took another medical leave of absence earlier this year with no estimated return date. The National Enquirer has now published some scary looking photos of Steve, which depict him looking thinner and perhaps more ill than ever.

The Enquirer followed him from breakfast to the Stanford Cancer Center. It says he has weeks to live, based on analysis of the photos by Dr. Gabe Mirkin and Dr. Samuel Jacobson. Neither are oncologists or have seen Steve in person. Mirkin, a radio talk show host, claims he has a "20-year track record of spotting breakthroughs and recommending effective treatments long before they become standard medical care" and makes his assessment of Steve based on the appearance of Steve's butt in the photos. Yes, this doctor is making a butt-diagnosis, remotely.

The National Enquirer has been right about things before, like the John Edwards affair. These photos do depict Steve. (We're only showing part of the image.) And Steve very likely was at the Stanford Cancer Center, since Radar is independently reporting it as well.

No one knows why he was there—no one has seen the medical records. The Enquirer is also wrong a lot—especially when it comes to proclaiming that celebrities have mere weeks to live. (Patrick Swayze, God bless him, beat their gruesome prognosis by a year. Kirstie Alley and Oprah will both be dead in a couple years by the Enquirer's reckoning.) The photos are shocking, but nearly every magazine retouches photos.

And just a couple weeks ago, Steve was supposedly spotted on Apple campus looking spry with a "full, genuine smile."

We hope that the Enquirer is wrong. And that's what our gut tells us. But who knows.
