Port of Hitachi: 2,300 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles destroyed :shock:

the GT-R plant was in the tsunami

Suzuki may have gotten away!

^was wondering how i aint seeing nothing about Mitsu, so Mitsu selling like normal. sales may go up due to availability of cars from the others

i would have rathered that the mitsu plant destroyed than the GT-R, what a shame.

^^ The US market could be affected to. From what I read, several major US manufactuers rely on Japan to produce a small amount of, but critical, components for their vehicles, engines, electronics etc. Without those items, US manufacturers could get hit also

Really bad news (at least Suzuki's apparently ok). I'm wondering about parts too.

While in Toyota getting my car serviced today i spoke to a sales manager and he told me " the public should expect an increase price of toyota cars within the next two months, demand is much higher than supply from japan"
