it's quite straight forward, but since the concept is still fairly new to locals.
your view is expected.

the same way ppl come together at car shows and indulge in alcohol and loud music,
loose behaviour etc... and still enjoy cars,

they're ppl on the contrary side of this scenario, who just prefer to hang out with their cars in an open parking lot... and have some ice cream (etc..) together and just chill out & socialize in a well disciplined manner...
rather than go to a car show a.k.a 'car fete'.
