Car Search hmm...... I wonder how it feels to own a business that sorta depends on high amounts of thefts to gain costumers :?.
Wouldn't such a business be involved...... anyway never mind. Sorry for your brother's friend OP.

that would be incorrect, although it has happened with smaller GPS dealers. Companies like the one i work for an Car Search an the like do not need a high amt of thefts to make money. The amt of thefts that are ligitimate give ppl enough reason to seek our services. And we dont make money only when a car is stolen, every month customers pay for the service. Think about a lot of customers who pay their monthly but cars are jus never stolen. The client we recovered for tonite has 14 vehicles with us, an this is the first time in 4 years tha one of his vehicles has been stolen. All w have to do is get enough customers to cover our overheads

Ok, suppose car thefts in Trinidad became a thing of the past, whether because of a new Government / miracle etc. Lets say vehicle theft reduced to approx 50 per annum with a 70% recovery record by the TTPS. You think you'd still have a job?

nothing feels worse than having something you worked so hard for, getting taken away by bandits. trust me... all you jokers who laugh etc.

after ours got stolen in 08, we went with Car Search and never looked back.

Hope yours is recovered OP.

Yup, pretty secure one as well, the corporate contracts we have pay better, larger fleet means more dollars, the thing is business owners use our devices not primarily for purposes of theft recovery, but rather to be a watchdog over delinquent drivers. Every monday morning one company in particular checks the last week of activities to see which drivers went over 120kmh an then penalizes them. other jus make sure the drivers go where they supposed to go. So the industry is kinda secure as long as trinis remain wotless

after paying 200plus then another 20plus in insurance, its kinda hard to fork out another 3k, good thing with insurance you get new car replacement within the first year. so maybe next year when the insurance premium drop a bit - you can go with the car search.
