[BLOG]: Sheldon Bissessar heads to Ohio’s Night Under Fire

T&T's Sheldon Bissessar and his team have been invited to participate in drag racing’s largest festival of Fire and Power- The 34th Annual Night Under Fire held at (NHRA) Summit Motorsports Park, Norwalk Ohio on Saturday August 13th2011.

This race is the largest attended single-day drag racing event in the world. Sheldon will be competing during the show time of the event alongside drag racing legends John Force, Frank Hawley, Larry “Spiderman” McBride, Jim Head, Robert Hight and Jeff Arend.  This event always has a sold out crowd exceeding 50,000 spectators. Sheldon will also be required to take part in the pre race ceremonies, parade and autograph sessions. He says it is a great honor to be invited to such a prestigious motorsport event where only the best in the world can participate.

Presently Sheldon holds two world records. The IHRA Top Dragster E.T. record 5.68 seconds @243MPH - 1/4mile and the IHRA Top Dragster Speed record 243MPH - 1/4 mile.

It boggles the mind that SHELDON BISSESSAR is recognized by the NHRA, and he cant even get a nomination for Sportsman Of The Year from TTASA because of what?????? all allyuh TTASA people who talking up in you know what, look at proof of what drag racing is doing for us. instead of fighting for power.....Ali..... let the people who have the real interests of drag racing at heart be the one to carry the sport forward. AFTER ALL THIS IS THE SECOND EVENT THAT IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE IN THE ARC WITH A SPONSOR!!!!!!!!!!! TTASA doesnt even have a venue to hold a race meet with seemingly no hope in the near future either. People will be starting their engines Link, but for an Autosport event, not a TTASA one.
