Anyone running 4.3.3 still?

How good is the battery life? Thinking about moving up from 4.2.1.

iPhone 4

Mine seems normal. Depending on how heavy I use the phone it goes down to about 80% during a day.

Well I just downloaded a custom ipsw and the official one.

Anything I should know before doing the upgrade?

I have the blobs saved for 4.2.1, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.3.5 as shown in cydia.

Baseband is 02.10.04 and using a regular gevey sim.

Also,

I have all my apps and games synced with itunes, would i be able to restore from an old backup and preserve my data (Game Center)?

Guess I will stick to the 4.2.1 then yes.

I get great battery results from it despite playing SF4,PVZ,Infinity Blade, checking emails, making calls and having applications set to alert me at 1 hour intervals.

1 overnight charge and i good to go.

**************

If M2nr gimme a link with proper instructions to update to ios 4.3.3 (without being stuck in the recovery loop) I would be willing to test it for a day or 2 since i have my blobs saved I can always go back to 4.2.1, not so?

i in a shitty situation here with a 4 as well. it was fine 4.3.3 but needed a redo... right now it stuck in a loop of hell.
i sent it up to 4.3.5 and it worked... then downgrading to 4.3.3 and it still b!txhing... sigh...

Exactly why I did not go ahead with doing the upgrade, Google searches reported that scenario in every article.

i think its time i go android... thing still in a loop. i even afraid to do my factory unlocked one.... i wonder if it is apple biting back?

this reminds me of a certain tuner iphone. thing is, this one was working mostly... not even 4.3.5 working... and i am not so well.. so im probably missing something...

because i dont have SHSH's for anything else.

So... after all that fcking HEADACHE... the phone decided to work... here are the steps:
- get it to 4.3.5
- using last redsn0w on 0.96 (b19?) point it to 4.3.3 virgin.
- pwn the DFU
- Load up TinyUmbrella 5.00.09 and tick everything in advanced options.
- Start TSS Server
- Load up iTunes and point it to a pwnagetool'd pwned 4.3.3 and let the action happen.

Wait for it to boot.

GOD that was headache and thank God it works now... time to gevey ultra it now >_<
