I see a lot of work was done to both cars already locally. Do you guys feel comfortable with the level of expertise/support available at that garage or locally on a whole? I mean, it requires some sort of skill and experience to drop a rear sub frame and dig up on the tranny etc...Do mechanics need specific training etc to work/upgrade the twin clutch tranny and awd systems etc?? Your feedback is welcomed, thanks.

Dropping the subframe is the easy part. The work was done by Dodson's certified installers in the USA. They are required to undergo alot of training with Dodson Motorsport in NZ before they're certified. The guys who we used have built in excess of 30 GTR boxes to date. I don't think anyone locally could have done the internal gearbox without proper advance knowledge of the gearbox internals. In addition the techs had to ship in a crate full of specialist tools to do the work.

The alternative was to remove the boxes and send them to the US but we both prefered to have it done locally so that it could be re-installed and setup by ppl who had done it before.

Both boxes were dropped, stripped, built and reinstalled over 2 days by 2 mechanics working 12 hour days.

pretty soon they will be selling certified mechanics with the purchase of an R35 GTR.

buy parts/upgrades and it comes with a data file that you upload into your robochanic.

i.e. power up, repairs ane done then switch off and store away.
these will be solar powered so charging wont be an issue.

You sure it's an S5 and not an A5?

S5 = V8 345 hp I think (or supercharged V6, can't remember)

^ I love that deep blue colour. Think it was Enzo's favourite colour also, so dark it looked black.

WQW!!!! local Almera (small light) SG-L (the fully loaded model, if it has a sunroof then it's the fully fully) gap in the back suggests it get hit alreddy but otherwise it decent, love how the owner swapped the original rims for aftermarket rims that look like the original rims

NICE SPOT there
