some might say they are innocent because they have not yet been to court and not yet proven guilty but if they are positively identified by the family...then I say post up pics.....

TWO suspects have been arrested in connection with the rape of a 49-year-old woman and her teenage daughter.
Officers attached to the Central Division Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and Task Force conducted an exercise in the Longdenville area around 11.45 p.m. on Thursday which resulted in the capture of the two 23-year-old suspects.
According to senior investigators, a party of officers headed by Insp Wayne Lawrence and including Sgts Hudlyn and Joseph along with other officers went to a house at Penco Street, Longdenville, not far from where the family lived and arrested one of the suspects.
Minutes later, they stormed a house belonging to the second suspect along Constructive Street, Enterprise. The suspect, police said, made a dash for freedom but was pursued and eventually captured a short distance away in a neighbour's yard.
Up to yesterday evening, they remained in custody at the Chaguanas Police Station where they were being questioned by investigators. They are also expected to be placed on identification parades, police said.
Investigators said they have received reliable information and are confident that the other two suspects will be arrested soon. It was around 2.30 a.m. on Thursday that the 49-year-old bank worker was asleep with her ten-year-old son and awoke to find four masked men in her bedroom. Police said the men entered the house after unlocking a window at the side of the building.
The men then escaped with a quantity of cash, jewelry and the family's $50,000 Toyota Corolla motorcar. When police arrived on the scene a short while later, the woman and her daughter were taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC) in Mt Hope, where the girl had to undergo emergency surgery as a result of the attack, said investigators. Both mother and daughter have since been discharged from hospital. Up to yesterday evening, officers had not located the family's vehicle.
The attacks came despite the State of Emergency and the 11 p.m. - 4 a.m. curfew restrictions. Only this week Police Service public relations officer, ASP Joanne Archie issued a warning that women should be vigilant as there were two reported rape cases within the past two weeks.
Meanwhile, the same party of officers that arrested the two suspects later went to an apartment building in the Enterprise, Chaguanas area, where they arrested a 32-year-old Morvant man who was wanted in connection with a number of crimes including murder. Following his arrest, the officers also seized two camouflage uniforms in his bedroom.
The officers then went to a house at Chinapoo Village, Morvant, around 2.30 a.m., where they arrested another man who was wanted in connection with several robberies in the Chaguanas area.
Investigations into all three incidents are continuing.
