Why not use co-axils in the backdash?

Deck- Alpine CDA-117
Wires- Best you can afford
Processing- if you are running the passives with the compts I dont see why you would need external processing between the deck/passives.

x2

Just about any head unit with a 2 way active x-over & equalizer should do the trick (might not eve need all that).

where you get the 1201.1 btw?

We can assist with finishing off your system.

Headunit
Alpine CDE-123, CDA-105, CDA-117

Wires & Accessories
We have Streetwires line of products - 2 amp kit and Rca's

Processing
-For that system you may not require additional processing.

Check out our new post in the car audio section, trying to post everything up...

I was looking at one of those pioneer dvd decks, would that be good enough or try the alpine?

there the system would now be:

1 pair jbl coaxial - jbl ma6002
4 jbl components-jbl 75.4 or the ma 6004?
2 10'' p1024- jbl gto 1201

headunit -alpine cda117 or pioneer dvd deck?
wires-streetwires

sounds about right?

btw thanks guys and de audio you will be seeing me soon...

The list of products above sounds like a good system. With regard to the headunit, if you do not plan to upgrade your system at all, you could use the pioneer dvd deck, as the processing will be adequate for your system. However, if you plan on upgrading eventually, the alpine cda117 may be the better choice as you can get more tuning capability out of it with the additional imprint unit, or in that case you can use the pioneer deck and just get an external processor. Honestly though, for the system you listed above, as is, if you are willing to spend the extra on the pioneer dvd deck, then it will work well in term of processing with that system.

System I'd go with would be:

1 Pair JBL GTO 628 - Deck Power
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17730_JBL-GTO628-GTO-628.html

Pair JBL P660c - JBL GTO1004 (Bridged)
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12244_JBL-GTO1004.html
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12260_JBL-P660C.html

2 10'' JBLP1022 - JBL GTO1401
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12249_JBL-GTO14001.html
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12256_JBL-P1022.html

If its intended to be a full SQ system using JBL products, one sub will be sufficient but I would go with the 1222 and a smaller monoblock

Headunit:
Kenwood x994 or x995
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-0B4zJa7oGio/p_113KDCX995/Kenwood-Excelon-KDC-X995.html

Wires, if not already run.....

Shok Industries:
0awg Either Reference or Competition.
12awg Reference.

when thinking about it a baseline like that would cover the midrange...not so? to match that midrange will 2 10'' gt5 work fine..or if the 2 power series are being used, would it be wise to add another pair of coaxial..

The 2 10's will be enough for this system. I had a pair of mtx 10's in the primera with my 2 sets of compts and it was balanced enough for me :)

you can use and of the poineer dvd decks, 2300,3300,4300DVD

i have the 4300DVD and it works exceptionally well. Also used the 2300DVD in alot of sq based installs just like the one you describe and it also works well. The decks also have very good built in high pass and low pass crossovers and graphic eq's so no additional processing is necessary.

IMHO the 4 doors with adequate matting installed are enough, mounting mids on the backdash also will be overkill and mess with your front staging.

If you want you can give me a call and i'll help you through the system or even install it for you if you wish.

i honestly prefer the gt5's... they sound much better than the Power series.

imo from what I have heard,to me the power series gives a more rugged baseline..the gt5 gives a really smooth and clean baseline..more musical as they would say..
