Difference between local 06 NZE & foreign used 06 NZE

Postby Olivia425 » February 17th, 2012, 5:20 pm

Recently called toyota for a alternator belt for my 06 foreign used nze. Before the guy could give me the price he asked if it is local or foreign used. Same thing when i called A1 auto supplies and Bobby's. These two places told me to bring the old belt.

When i googled the part number for the belt i saw it corresponded to the Scion.

So was wondering how different these two are?

There are NZEs in this country with 1.5 1NZ-FE, as well as 1.6 3ZZ-FE and 1.8 1ZZ-FE engines.

RR.

op people just assume all cars that look like the pic below is a nze but that is incorrect. Nze represents a "nz" engine on a corolla chassis ("e" chassis) but the model car below came with a few engine as said above by ramishrrr. So this may be the reason that the places require you to bring in the belt or ask if it local or foreign.
