World wide internet black out March 31st???

This is the most retarded thing I've heard in a loooong time.

It is very unlikely for any group to take down all 13 root servers. First to begin with these aren't literately 13 servers, they are 13 server clusters spread out over the globe. Short of taking down the world's entire power grid...its close to impossible to bring all 13 DNS servers down.

Even if ALL 13 clusters were taken down, it just means that domain names won't be resolved...you could still reach a host by punching in the IP (as impractical as that is).

Not to mention all ISP's keep a DSN lookup cache.

So unless a gigantic alien ship is about to bombard the entire planet with EMPs on March 31st I'll be using the internet for what it was designed for.......watching LOL cats.

Switched from blink to flow this week after 6 years and experiencing this flow failure... thankfully I still have my blink modem and they didn't cut the line yet so I plugged it in and have internet LOL
