This is sad, because it happened to me.... But I realised it was a stolen phone when people started adding me on BBM, and I spoke to one of them... *Immediate security wipe and return phone to seller* But in your case, only thing you could do is take the rap, but there's no way BOTH of y'all walking free, either one, the other, or BOTH.... Btw as far as the police are concerned, he was in possession of stolen property at the time of arrest, which makes him the thief....

I don't think the OP will be returning any replies to this post any time soon, if at all. He would have already a long time ago if he could have. One can only imagine what happened to the guy and if he's sharing toothpaste this moment.
