do they have any problems within the 3 or 5 yrs range

maintence, quality ,reliable an so on.

feed back on these plz, looking to purchase 1 and where to buy them thx

Uncle has a 3rd generation going into its 5th year. So far no issues.
Very reliable, usual maintenance.

Yup decent van- adequate space, comfortable ride, not to bad on fuel either and FU parts readily available if you speaking of FU.

the one issue I was told some have is with overheating (taxi drivers), a problem easily fixed with an upgraded radiator and fans

^^what about if you just take out the thermostat altogether?

this has been discussed thoroughly and there are varying view. run a search to find he thread

Me personally, I would leave my car the way it came from the manufacturer. Remember a lot of thought was put into the design of the car and the engine by the engineers/designers and most likely they had a fair idea about what they were doing. I could put my faith in there hands with respect to this thermostat issue :|

Exactly.
a quicker opening thermo, and no thermo have the same result. The coolant does not stay in block long enough to dissipate heat.
If you have other problems, the thermostat is not the fix.
