Users are permitted to register one username only. We DO NOT allow multiple accounts per user. If we find that you are using more than one account, we will ban BOTH or ALL your accounts.

Didnt know powersellers were above forum rules.
Cool.

Aware me

this was brought about due to the amount of accounts created by regular users just to spam the board, for instance, users were making accounts to post call out threads or make user names like Jack Warner etc.

Ah hear a certain user accounts for 10,000 of the member accounts on tuner. jk.

Aware me
Powersellers should not have multiple accounts either.

infact the multiple accounts rule came about because sellers would create another account to "rate up" or bump their items

Powersellers are allowed to register only another powerseller account if they wish to have more than 4 FS topics per classified forum.

Some companies have a powerseller account belonging to the company, but employees have their personal account - the rule does not apply here.

so if i have 3 employees i can register all 3 as PS's n then register the company twice as a PS which would mean i can bump 20 threads right.
but whats stops me from registering the 3 employees twice?
of course im payin per PS a/c.

^ yes except that we do not allow more than 3 accounts for powerseller use and the usernames must be different. Which is why you have DuAL StaR and D-StAR SPEeD SToP

Of course if you are using the employee usernames with no reference to the business name, then there is no limit to the amount you can register

^ no! if you want to do that then you need to log in to each account to bump the respective topics

Check the rules:
http://www.trinituner.com/v3/rules/

Forum Rules wrote:BUMPS
Bumps are limited to 1 every 12 hours and no more.
Bumping multiple threads (more than 2; 4 for powersellers) in a forum will be considered spamming and the offender’s account will be suspended.
Users can bump another user’s/powerseller’s thread only ONCE. Users found bumping another user’s thread more than once will be banned. If a user/powerseller wants you to bump their thread for them, then let them give you their log-in. Simple. In light of this if a powerseller wants his “employees” to bump their threads for them then they MUST let the employee log in with the powerseller account. No exceptions. This makes it fair and equal for everyone.
We currently have no absolute method of limiting bumps per day. In light of this and at this time there is no real limit to the amount of times you can bump your own FS or WTB thread in the classifieds. However discretion is advised when bumping. We suggest no more than 2 bumps per day. Any more and you will risk looking desperate and would aggravate other users who could very well be your potential customers.

Yea that's what I meant. I meant to ask if one person is allowed to have multiple powerseller accounts for different companies. I asked that cuz if I were to pay for powerseller, it will definitely not be on this account cuz that's an immediate loss of costumers based on the e-haters :|.
Plus if you wanna sell a company you might wanna transfer all the social network accounts associated with it and that can't be your personal account.

so let me see if i understand this..
i can get unlimited power seller accounts once i am the only one bumping them by logging in to each account separately and bumping the requisite topic.
even though they may be the same business but under different tuner aliases but with the same contact numbers and addresses etc.

i see this being abused in the future.
imagine, full pages with majority one user's ads but with different aliases.
that doesnt sound fair to me.
different aliases, one person profiting.

can't powersellers compile their items into their four alotted threads and avoid having to pay for another account in the first place.

^ it has been available for years now and it has not yet been abused. It would make more sense for a powerseller to spend on a Global Announcement or a banner ad than to pay for and do the work of 10 powerseller accounts.

S_2NR wrote:can't powersellers compile their items into their four alotted threads and avoid having to pay for another account in the first place.
that is what powersellers already do

there is no limit to the number of items a powerseller can post for sale in one topic.

Alot of powersellers only have one or two topics and they post ALL their items in there.

having multiple power seller accounts will get them more publicity for particular items than a banner ad though.

^ that depends on the campaign they are running and their activities.

if they are trying to build brand equity then having 10 accounts in one forum will not work, and it will not reach the entire population of visitors to the site.

in fact if they were to use all 10 accounts to advertise one brand it may eventually have a negative impact as users may start to see it as spam.

it can be done

the choice is up to the powerseller on how they set up their ad
