Help MISSING DOG! (now safe at home)

Postby jm3 » October 6th, 2012, 9:59 am

hi everyone,
i need the help of anyone that is able to,
Buster went missing yesterday in santa cruz i have searched for him all day and all night and still have not found him i think he may have been taken in by somebody,
so i need to get in touch with as many people as possible in the area so that maybe somebody will know something,
i am offering a reward for his safe return.
He is 9 years old neutered he is black and white pied with a patch over his eye he looks like a very small pittbull but he is not a pitt he is not aggressive and is an indoor dog he has a microchip but he slipped his harness so no id tag, he was last seen jumping my gate at 11am on friday the 6th of october.

if you have any information please contact me on 3881133

He looks like a miniature dairy cow.

Will be on the lookout.

yeh buster has been an escape artist since he was a puppy he is able to scale 6ft wood fences i had paid someone to raise the walls around my house to 7 foot but he built up to 5 ft and never came back to do the rest.

i had a weird phone call phone a small boy earlier asking if he could keep him,
i traced the number and it was to the local shop,
went there and asked and they don't know anything but there was a boy there that must live close when asked he seemed like he knew something but wouldn't say i need to find out where he lives so i can go knock on the door.
Does anyone know if i have any legal powers to retrieve him if he has been snatched?

if anyone knows the area there is a very rough area next to the nice area so it's risky going in there and talking to people especially with my accent.

turns out it was the shop owners little nephew messing around still searching for him though
i thought i saw him a minute ago while i was driving around but he ran into the brush before i got to him i will go out again at 3am
easier to look around when the gaza yutes are in bed.
went and sat at the church for awhile and for the first time in my life prayed and cried sad i know but he's the one thing i always dreaded losing.;

good news i just got him back some people nearby had seen him running along saddle road and got him in there car on friday when he went missing,
i asked the same people 3 times over the last few days as i could here a dog barking at night that sounded like him coming from there area they said they had not seen him,
then today he asked how much the reward was i then got a phone call 30mins later from him and he gave him back. i am so happy to have him back i am going to try and scrape the last bit of cash i have left now to buy a gps collar and raise the fences. this ordeal has actually also given me some faith in god as last night was the first time in my life i prayed and then i got him back today after searching night and day since friday morning.

yeh that explains why nobody had seen him.
he said he saw this nice looking dog wandering on saddle road,
which is a mere few feet from the only siting of him in a close that backs on to saddle road,
so he decided to pick him up and take him home,
now i am actually kind of grateful for that because the most worrying thing for me was that he may have been hit by a car on saddle road,
esp as it's the weekend with all the drunk beach goers.
i think today the guys conscience got the better of him as i gave him a flier to put up in the business place, i think when he read that he is actually an old dog not the perceived young pitbull that people think he is because he still has plenty of energy but is comparatively small in size and in very good condition he realized maybe he should take the reward money instead.

im just glad to have him back safe and sound,
i have been struggling to keep it together the last few days.
