Nissan Tiida vs Toyota Yaris

Simple debate on two economical cars...Which wud u pick?

Actually, it's not a simple debate. Those cars, while considered economy cars, have engines with different displacements and are physically of different sizes.

But, if I had to pick one based on the photos posted, I would pick the Yaris. The Tiida (sedan) is just a plain butt ugly car with the typical cheap low quality tacky looking Nissan interior. For the distances that I have to drive, the Yaris would be more economical on my pocket. The Toyota would also hold a higher resale value in comparison to its purchase price.

Although, I think the dash dials being in the middle rather than above/in front the steering is odd.. I drove my friend's Yaris and I found it distracting to have to look across kinda.

Toyota Yaris wins this one easily for better quality design (especially the interior), reliability and is more economical...but its what you want and can afford at the end of the day. In stock form, the Tiida is not as appealing as the Yaris and I as far as I understand, the it is recommended that the Tiida is fuel octane is 95 ron so based on current fuel prices, Toyota FTW.

Only turnoff about the yaris is the gauges in the centre of the dash...but still has a place in meh heart as that's what I learnt to drive in
