All said and done scratch bomb Dan, mind you a few years ago I went thru like 250-280 one night terrorizing everything that moved haven't used one since. Now if you not afraid of loosing fingers then that's the way to go..

theres one called pacific blue, its a 25 shot, usually about 250$-350$.....never seen it for years tho, it outperformed those 1000$ ones by far...some tent in aranguez had it years back, since then never seen it again

I've had good results with the Black Cat brand in the past. Usually buy the kits that have a bit of everything, from pipe launch to rockets to roman candles.

I don't do fireworks on Divali anymore but the best I ever got for the price was called "Single Silver Palm".

I bought them at the Nagar years ago for $20/ea (blow out sale); it was not branded and wrapped in red kite paper (or grey, can't remember). After that year I could not find them anywhere.

They were just the kind of fireworks i prefer, not deafening but very bright and massive.
The perceived burst diameter at explosion height was about a half block and no black cat et al alternative under $60 that i tried came close.
