im new to the Iphone..so help me out...

question: i have a factory unlocked 4s and i want to sign in to the app store but it keeps prompting to enter my credit card information.

if i wish to not enter it? is there any other way of downloading free apps for the phone?

From what I remember..

Download itunes, then look for a free app in the app store and download it. It will ask for your user id. Select to create a new one, put in a US address and at the end of the process should ask for payment option. Should have the option "None". Select that and the id should be created.

^^^ follow the steps in the link below. Also, you can't re-use your existing Apple ID - you'll have to create a new Apple ID using a new email address.

jus this weekend I started using safari on my Mac instead of chrome.

with chrome I always have to force quit and after the last update, I get no sound in the browser once I have it open for a while

Will do, it's very random.

it more than likely is due to items and images that user embed in their post that causes the mobile browser to render the page incorrectly - there is no real way to fix that on a forum where users are allowed to post content.

Safari on iPhone, iPad and iMac blows away Chrome in speed.
Only thing faster than Safari is Opera on iOS, but it's not a fully functional browser. More like a web viewer?
