Guys,just upgraded a ipad 2 wifi 16gb to IOS 6.0.1

Now facetime and iMessage (via wifi not cellular data) not allowing me to sign in.It keeps prompting me for the password, which i know is correct because it works in the iTunes store normal.

HALP!

I had a similar problem when I got my ipad3 and what I had done wrong was use "www." In front my email.

Could be something that simple.

Same error on my mountain lion macbook pro that i asked for help on a few pages back that i never got an answer to, so im guessing you're gonna have to wait until it fixes on its own.

Yea boy Duane. Bad thing is its an appletv 3 :( so jailbreak is out.
What I like about it is that it's never really off, it serves as a glorified airplay device really. I noticing Netflix video quality and sound is pretty good as well.

---
That FaceTime activation issue is a real PITA. Had an iPhone 4 recently that was giving the same issue. I couldn't get it to activate at all! And the same apple id activated fine on a MacBook Pro. If you all get through do post about it.

guys i'm lost a bit.'m coming to the pros...lol, i brought a 3GS for someone here in T&T and he took it to a guy to jail break and unlock...however when he got it back, the guy told him that it is the new/latest upgrade and there isnt an unlock for it as yet..he said he cudnt deactivate the IoS to the older one to unlock it, hence its stuck with the new software...it has cydia installed and charged me $200. and told me when the unlock comes out, he will do it...is there any truth to this? thanks!

Get it "factory unlocked" and done the talk.

Unless you really want it jailbroken. At any rate, just get it factory unlocked.

I just downloaded it, it might take a little getting used too but it's not bad, definitely smoother with the gestures. They said that they're still going to support and update the original Tapatalk, you don't need to upgrade but if you want to it's only 99cents..

Yeah I agree it's not commonly done with iOS apps but on a computer it's normal. The description said they're marketing it as a 'premium' version of the original, not seeing anything so premium about it so far, I rather the forum interface of the original. Gestures are cool tho.

Find it sucks that you have to pay to get the new x.0 version but since it is only .99c (for now) no real harm in doing so. I'll check it out.

It's alright. The gestures involved would take some getting used to as has been states previously. As a moderator though it seems not as easy or even impossible to do so with it now. Tapatalk 1 had its issues as well in this regard but I was able to do the very least of moderation with it.
