Why don't you lock the phone before putting it in your pocket?

There is also the autolock feature. Proximity sensor is mostly used for Siri and calls.

I just figured that it would kick in for itself when it's in my pocket.

Love this phone anyway.

That's weird. It should. Well by default auto lock is 1 minute unless you're in an app and it causes the phone to stay awake.

Actually if I leave my phone unlocked while in my truck, it remains on since the phone is moving from side to side and changed from portrait to landscape mode. I guess this is what's taking place when it's in your pocket.

Oh if you all want to jb 6.1, do a complete restore to 6.1 _not_ an OTA.

Yes. Remember there was an issue when trying to use your Apple ID that it prompts that the username or password is incorrect.

I was unaware of it until recently when my friend brought an iPad over with said issue. Eventually resolved by setting it up as a US account. More of a temporary fix. Thought that was strange.

Nope. I use the TT App Store and a gmail address

New os update fixed a Bluetooth issue I had. There was a 4 secs gap when I answered a call on my hands free unit in my truck.
