he is still deciding on power/subs, etc...so nothng has been finalized yet...jus looking for some good advice before purchasing stuff...so basically so far the 10 15" would b the better run...what brands, etc & power...and obviously if he going with 18" he wud have to add more power!

no comparison here : 10 15s

make sure u have enough operating cuft as well as place for port , subs & mdf displacement + space for batteries , amps , crossover etc

dont try to over stuff subs in a less than perfect air space , better to use less subs if space isnt enough

a system of this size will require winning d lotto -

as for what brands to use : DD FTW ....

well in this case. u have to figure out if u will have enough room to run the 10- 15" subs in their recommended enclosures.

just to give u an idea lets say 3.5 cubes net per sub that will total to be 35 cubes of space just for the bass.

u still have to add batteries and amps, mids etc.

wrt brands of subs- look into brands such as atomic, dd, sundown, American bass, skar audio, ground zero, spl dynamics. all of these brands have a range in sub woofers (different power ratings etc)

depending on the sub (power rating) he chooses then amps can be bought to match this.

did any measurements yet ?

that shud be sufficient enough space to fit 10 15s since locally there was a similar van with 12 15s in it

hope u get a very good experienced installer to do this & use quality amps\equipment since i wud hate to hear a system like that poorly done ....

10 -15 Americanbass HD and 5 VFL 500.1 Amps i would love to see this against the other 10 -15 vehicles out there providing the system is designed properly and rite current system is used.
