DJ Q wrote:Personally... after driving it, I don't see why a Hilux costs so much.
The Mahindra has almost everything *I* want in a vehicle.
Many of the simple things in that vehicle impressed me.
For instance, the deck comes with a remote, steering controls, USB playback but no bluetooth (damn).
Vehicle also has rear a/c, folding arm rests for driver and passenger, adjustable headrests in the rear, LOTS of head and leg room and very deep tray. Side step is actually part of the chassis so imho would assist with side impact.
All of that for $138,000 (4x2) and $165,000 (4x4)
The only difference between the two is the transmission.
It's not pretty, but it seems very good thus far.

First off please dont compare that ugly thing called Mahindra with a new hilux. Second, when that crap breaks down the hilux will still be going strong.Third, in ten years I can sell the hilux and buy 10 Mahindra's. Forth and final, if you can afford a hilux you wont be rating a Mahindra or will ever look at that thing twice.

They can get away with murder in trinidad so they will continue to do so.
Heck if i was them i would do the same!
