Test drove the sportage today, mighty fine vehicle only bad things were that the rear windscreen kinda small and the transmission is very noisy, interior lovely, the panoramic sunroof really nice jockey shorts wetting business. 291k with side steps included

was listening to 100.1 fm on the drive home and heard an ad talking about some redesigned Lexus models, which can now be seen at Toyota's Barataria location. Guy mentioned the new RX, as well as two variants of the Lexus G5 model; I was a bit confused until I realized he was talkin about the GS :?

The Mahindra has almost everything *I* want in a vehicle.
Many of the simple things in that vehicle impressed me.

For instance, the deck comes with a remote, steering controls, USB playback but no bluetooth (damn).
Vehicle also has rear a/c, folding arm rests for driver and passenger, adjustable headrests in the rear, LOTS of head and leg room and very deep tray. Side step is actually part of the chassis so imho would assist with side impact.

All of that for $138,000 (4x2) and $165,000 (4x4)
The only difference between the two is the transmission.

It's not pretty, but it seems very good thus far.

Nice, went in and purchased one today for our workers, hope it survives

First off please dont compare that ugly thing called Mahindra with a new hilux. Second, when that crap breaks down the hilux will still be going strong.Third, in ten years I can sell the hilux and buy 10 Mahindra's. Forth and final, if you can afford a hilux you wont be rating a Mahindra or will ever look at that thing twice.

lol why am i not surprised. An Audi a6, a mercedes e-class, the volkswagen passat , are all much cheaper and perform better and are as luxurious if not more than the lexi, plus you have your mazda 6's, kia optima and hyundai sonata to contend with....at those prices you might as well buy a q7 or something.....my goodness man that's absolutely ridiculous...those gs are beautiful cars but if thats not pricing them out of the market I don't know what is....

They can get away with murder in trinidad so they will continue to do so.

Hilux ain't bulletproof, trust me, I know I have two at home and resale value and looks are the least of my worries.

I choose to compare the mahindra to the hilux cause that's what the mahindra will be replacing.
