Try www.magauto.com. I have bought parts for my car off that website already.

What kind of spark plug you need that you had to personally import it from Japan?

Surprisingly, all I had to pay today was VAT (no Customs Duty charges). I hope it's the same with the other parts that are coming.

It's the "rare" 4G92 MIVEC 2nd Gen (CK). And it's actually the spark plug wires, not the actual plugs. And the seals are fuel injector seals.

Yeah for you wallet's sake, I hope it's VAT only for the other parts too.

Rory sometimes they charge you sometimes they don't. For what reason I really can't say. I was charged duty a couple of times and a few other times I was not charged.

Happy Camper

Image

The ignition coil (coil pack) does not carry the Mitsubishi logo and part number, but it carries the Denso name and part number. Same thing. Straight from Denso I guess.

In light of Rory's success with Amayama, I decided to try getting some parts myself.

I basically ordered some clips for the trunk finisher of my Wingroad, a cover for the rear seat belt bolt and the clamp for the bonnet rod

Justin was quite helpful, asking me to describe the parts.

Total cost of order was US$30. Payment made on 17th April, but it never left Japan till the 22nd
I got notification from TTPOST Monday gone and collected it today, paying TT$49 in fees.

I have no complaints, and I gonna order some more small parts from them soon.

I received some parts I ordered from them yesterday.

I dealt with a different guy though.

I found that they take too long to reply after I placed my order, close to 8/9 days in my case.

There is a Golden Week holiday (April 29 - May 5) in Japan. Probably that is why they were slow to respond.

Please forgive my ignorance but how come you guys are using TTPOST and not your skybox?
Does the site not allow that?

You could have it shipped wherever in the world you want. But why ship something via Express Mail Service (EMS) from Japan to the USA and then to Trinidad? It makes more sense from Japan to Trinidad. The EMS is trackable from start to finish. Plus Amayama.com describes the parts accurately so that the correct duty and VAT charges are applied by Customs and Excise.

sent a parts inquiry last week Saturday, got the shipping quote on Wednesday and I made the

payment today...just waiting for amayama to confirm payment in a couple days

what I did notice a couple weeks ago was that a part that cost $100 USD dropped to $80 USD and

after I got the final quote it went down by another $1 USD

I was thinking of waiting to see if it would keep going lower but didn't want to chance it, next thing

the exchange rate goes back up lol

^^Yeah I noticed the price varies too. You did the right thing! Buy one time! Don't risk it going back up. LoL

^^

Should not be more than a couple days.

And on a side note, I just tried to access the site and was greeted with a "Error 502- bad gateway" on the homepage

EDIT: It's back up now...

So I decided to order some more small parts:

- spare clips for the trunk finisher
- a pair of rubber bushings for the top of the radiator (the old ones were worn and gave too much play)
- some touch-up paint (KY0)

Ordered it 15th July.
Cost was US$33 items + US$18 shipping =$51.
Paint was shipped separately from the rest.
Got notification in mail on 29th to collect the bushings, but paint was right in my mailbox same day

Paid another TT$45 at TTPOST to collect bushings

Only 'gripe' is the touchup paint came with a nail polish style applicator.
Very satisfied otherwise.
