A lot of inadmissible evidence with regard to Trayvon's character arose to indicate that if Zimmerman is a racist, he was not the only racist involved in that fatal confrontation. And if that's too inadmissable for you, take a good look at Trayvon's friend, the Precious impersonator who was brought to the stand. Trayvon Martin did not deserve to die, but people need to get their heads out their colons, making it look like he was the smiling child in the red T-shirt the media splashed upon the TV, newspapers and magazines.

If Zimmerman had said he found Trayvon in someone's yard or breaking into a car then by all means. Whatever happen after that so be it. But a guy walking home with a Skittles ended in his death? Hmmm.....regardless of the race of the "victim". That's tough.

And like I said before. These days a lot of teens post up stupid sheit on FB. Makes you wanna slap 3/4 of them. If Trayvon was the aggressor those things would be very damaging for him. I have some friends that love guns, knives, etc. That's on their profile. So what?

I think Zimmerman was great for doing the neighbourhood watch thing but this one got outta hand and now his life has changed. Free but not free.

Personally, i still think he should have gotten manslaughter.... but honestly the prosecution helped lose the case. They aimed too high with seeking murder II and switched the focus to the possibility of the manslaughter verdict, wayyy too late in the case.... Not giving the jury enough time to truly understand, the criteria for handing down that that verdict... They blew it!... People need to move orn.

And all the usual suspects marching and protesting. Think i saw Al Sharpton et al, making the rounds today. Funny i don't see much action from them, on the horrific situation happening in the Chicago inner city... But i suppose there's not enough national attention/coverage, to interest these people.

Lawyers for George Zimmerman, 29, successfully argued that he was acting in self-defence when he shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

Alan Dershowitz told BBC News that there was "reasonable doubt" about the facts of what happened and blamed a misrepresentation of the facts by the media for the public's expectation of a conviction.

That couldn’t have even been a question a few days ago: Judge Debra Nelson ruled Thursday, over the defense’s vehement objection, to include manslaughter as an option for jurors, in addition to the second-degree murder charge. Their third option would be to find Zimmerman not guilty.
The question — which was read out in court, without the jurors present, shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday — was the first posed by the jury since late Friday afternoon, when jurors requested an inventory of evidence. After the question on the manslaughter charge, lawyers from both sides approached Nelson’s bench; their comments could not be heard.
The judge then said the court would recess for 30 minutes. Lawyers returned to the Sanford, Florida, courtroom shortly before 6:40 p.m.
After some back-and-forth, and shortly before the judge announced that the jury had ordered dinner, prosecutors and defense lawyers agreed to a response to the jury’s question — basically asking for more detail. “The court cannot engage in general discussions but may be able to address a specific question regarding clarification of the instructions regarding manslaughter,” their joint response to the jury says. “If you have a specific question, please submit it.”

Yeah. but it seems they had trouble answering (in general terms), just what "manslaughter" entailed... And their request was subsequently denied. They were asked to be more specific instead. But you can't be expected to ask for specifics, when it seems they were struggling with the broader definition/criteria of the charge?... Can you?

Like i said, the prosecution should have focused on manslaughter from the beginning.
