That doesn't look too good. Do you all recon I can take a 8 am swim in Macqueripe? As far as I can determine from your reports and met office site, it's overcast but no rain. I know yesterday Tucker Valley road was in bad shape, but water should have gone down by now right?

Sando is still overcast but no rain and doesn't seem like its gonna rain soon. Skies to The south and northwest don't look good at all though and constant rumbling of thunder can still be heard from the clouds to the south I think

Low rumbling thunder can be heard in south. This has been so for the past hour or more. No rain yet though (La Romaine area)

Tucker Valley Road was passable. There is just one low bridge that is still under water there, but even cars can cross it now. Would not recommend going with a car if the rains start back, even if it is a drizzle. The roads require some clean up but the good people of the Chaguaramas Development Authority were already working at it this morning.

Had a passing shower for about thirty minutes with intervals in between and some wind. Everything normal now.

Can anyone say how Caura river will be tomorrow seeing all this rain in the north. I'm invited to a lime there but deciding if to go somewhere else since the river might not be safe to bathe.

For the past few night it has been really humid especially in those back roads by utt in couva.

When I put on the ac to cool inside the cabin water does condensate on all the glasses and I can't see crap outside. Whole glasses, not just part.

Not just humid, but actually warm too. The first 10 days this month, 7 were warm nights (over 23.5ºC). I'll do another count tomorrow, God willing.
Cloud cover provides capping so terrestrial heat can't dissipate freely. It's the same reason the deserts get so cold at night.

if 24°C is warm, what temp is considered a cold night?

Any idea what was the coldest temp ever recorded in T&T?

Well that's the threshold really.

Coldest was 16.5ºC, recorded in January '74, IIRC.
