there are a lot of VNC type apps in the AppStore, while they are not free, IMO paying for an app outweighs the drama of jail breaking and waiting on updates.

Just last week I was thinking how come they never made the clock icon show the correct time as the calendar icon showed the correct date.

Cool to see they have that now.

I like that they didn't remove the 3D effect with the home screen.
Can tilt and see behind icons yay.

How much free space do you have? iOS7 works faster for me than iOS6 at times but I had an almost full phone when using 6. It might help. I have a 16gig and for some reason things like voice memos and text messages ate up alot of space and slowed the phone down. Copied them off to iTunes and removed them from the phone and performance increased.

It’s Official: BBM Coming To Android September 21; iPhone On September 22

http://www.zagg.com/community/blog/bbm- ... e-sept-22/

I know there are still a few BlackBerry loyalists among us here on ZAGGblog, so I wanted to pass along the official word from BlackBerry: BBM will launch on Android September 21st (this Saturday) and on iOS September 22 (this coming Sunday). It’ll be a free download in both the Play Store and the App Store. In a blog post earlier today, BlackBerry touted the following features for BBM:

BBM Chat – Enjoy real, immediate conversations with friends on Android, iPhone and BlackBerry smartphones. Not only does BBM let you know that your message has been delivered and read, it also shows you that your friend is responding to the message.

More than chat – With BBM you can share files on your phone such as photos and voice notes, all in an instant.
Keep your group in the loop – Multi-person chats are a great way to invite contacts to chat together. BBM Groups lets you invite up to 30 friends to chat together, and go a step further than multi-chat by sharing photos and schedules. And, with Broadcast Message, you can send a message out to all your BBM contacts at once.

Post Updates and stay in the know – BBM lets you post a personal message, profile picture and your current status, and lets your contacts know instantly in Updates.

Your unique PIN – Every BBM user has a unique PIN that maintains your privacy, so you don’t have to give out your phone number or email address to a new or casual contact.

It still remains yet to be seen if BBM will help the ailing Canadian company, especially amid reports from The Wall Street Journal that they’ll be laying off up to 40% of their employees by the end of this year. We’ll find out soon enough.

:P

A co-worker has a 4S which is locked to a Canadian carrier but has been using an iOS6 Gevey sim for the last year or so for the phone to function in T&T.

Surprisingly they were able to update to iOS7 without any issues, and all functionality is present on the phone. Not sure how, but that was a shock for me.

Well its finally released so you guys cant use the "it's just a beta" excuse anymore and it still looks horribly ugly.

We miss you Steve Jobs.

^ I noticed iOS 7 fixed a deep linking problem I always had with Whatsapp: When you get a message and tap it on the notification screen, it would open whatapp but it would open the last conversation you were in, not the one that just came in, often causing you to reply to the wrong person and is probably a major cause of divorce, unemployment and planass these days.

now with iOS 7 the notification opens the correct conversation.
