"The only duncey-head children we have are those...who are taught that the Earth is 6,000 years old by a man with a bogus PhD who is allowed to have his own school because he made millions by saying that the Earth is 6,000 years old."

My question is, how long over the millions of years of evolution according to Kevin Baldeosingh and other atheists did it take for each of the genders in human and animal species to evolve their individual sex genitals before they were able to begin copulating so as to bring these species to their present state where copulation is necessary to germinate offspring? Or did each gender evolve sex genitals at the same time? If so how did either gender know what form to make their specific genitals so it could work with what the other gender was evolving onto itself? Two more questions, how did each gender go about reproducing itself while they went about the tasks of evolving these necessary body parts over millions of years? Did they have to live for millions of years to complete the process?

Haven't you confronted memes in this thread before, even my memes?

Its seemed like you attempted to take the meme seriously and try to give a history of religion. You still failed to point out a people group who were once atheistic, created a God, and then became theistic. But when maj.tom retreated to the position that it was meant to be a joke, you subsequently acted like if the meme wasnt attempted to be literal.

Hey V8 Boys,
People usually and possibly naturally overstate themselves. Take you for example, why V8 and not 2-stroke?
The point is this: A man calls himself an idiot, what do you expect?

Our desire too live.

Whoever authored the bible had some deep insight into human nature.

I distinctly remember being shown a verse that says "god has put forever into our hearts".

I know personally i don't want to die. Anyone who says they are not afraid to die, are simply lying to themselves, no one else.

I have no religion, but i believe there is a god, and he authored what we call the bible.

No human could write some of the things i have read in that book. With regards to insight on life, how we are made, and our purpose here.

What does society call someone who believes in GOD Almighty and holds to the Bible with conviction? Have you studied its sources / authenticity? In addition, have you compared with other religious books / philosophies?

Is it possible for this GOD, in whom you believe, to have authored other books to other peoples on the. Earth? BTW, you do know that none of the books in the Bible were revealed in English?

Some believe in a GOD that they cannot prove exists. Others will believe in that which is scientifically / mathematically (statistically) impossible.

There were books written before the Bible was put together. These spoke about God and his laws and also gave some insight into the next world. See the Book of Enoch for Example.

The only 2 people to make it to "heaven" before Jesus died were Enoch and Elijah. Both were translated. However, there are different levels of heaven so we are not sure which level they are on.

Also Moses appeared on the Mountain talking to Jesus with Elijah. So something happened to Moses after his death.

Well I am not going to delve into your studying of the bible,if you said you did you did.At various time God spoke to made directly, via the burning bush etc, there were also prophets which communicated God's will to man. The Holy Spirit has works on the heart and minds of men convicting them of sin.The was also the sanctuary service which made man allowance for sin and through faith in the coming messiah and repentance/obedience they will be covered by the blood.Jesus replaced the sanctuary service when he died. The bible also says in the time of ignorance God winks but when knowledge comes to him,man is held responsible.
I am going out on a limb here thinking you to be sincere in your question. If you are trolling however, this will be my first and last response. Be blessed man.

Read Genesis 1;2.......and the spirit of God...........

and then go and check(or Google )the references to the spirit of God in the old testament.

Man is judged on his actions, inactions, thoughts, etc when he has been convicted of sin, what is the sin that the baby has committed in thoughts, works or deeds. The dead baby goes to the grave and awaits the voice of God on the appointed time.

To the grave. Where they know nothing. But this raises an interesting question. When Jesus died he went to where the dead are and preached to them. This should mean that there was some form of consciousness. According to the Lost Gospel of Peter:

9 And in the night in which the Lord's day was drawing on, as the soldiers kept guard two by two in a watch, there was a great voice in the heaven; and they saw the heavens opened, and two men descend from thence with great light and approach the tomb.

And that stone which was put at the door rolled of itself and made way in part;

and the tomb was opened, and both the young men entered in.

10 When therefore those soldiers saw it, they awakened the centurion and the elders;

for they too were hard by keeping guard.

And as they declared what things they had seen, again they see three men come forth from the tomb, and two of them supporting one, and a cross following them:

and of the two the head reached unto the heaven, but the head of him who was lead by them overpassed the heavens. And they heard a voice from the heavens, saying, Thou hast preached to them that sleep.

And a response was heard from the cross, Yea.

This is also reflected in the book of Peter in the Bible where Peter said that:

1 Peter 4:6

King James Version (KJV)

6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

But they are still dead.

What about the saying that we are born in sin and shapen in iniquity, does a child have an inherent sinful nature?

Our mortal bodies are already the product of a sinful nature. That is why we die. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

King James Version (KJV)

The child may have the propensity to sin,but have not actually made any willing choice to do so.
@ bluefete I am wary when it comes to those lost books as they tend to go against what the bible says in various other places. That why we are admonished to compare line upon line and precept upon precept. To anyone who feel it necessary to study these books I would encourage as with all study of the scriptures much pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit.

The bible clearly states that the only way to heaven is through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ and since God does not compromise nor does he change, a newborn is destined to hell unless he or she does the former, no? One is sinful from the minute he/she is born whether he/she has committed a sinful act or not, according to the bible. What about a mentally challenged person who isn't able to consciously repent and accept Jesus Christ?

Google is God

http://www.thechurchofgoogle.org/

PROOF #1

Google is the closest thing to an Omniscient (all-knowing) entity in existence, which can be scientifically verified. She indexes over 9.5 billion WebPages, which is more than any other search engine on the web today. Not only is Google the closest known entity to being Omniscient, but She also sorts through this vast amount of knowledge using Her patented PageRank technology, organizing said data and making it easily accessible to us mere mortals.

PROOF #2

Google is everywhere at once (Omnipresent). Google is virtually everywhere on earth at the same time. Billions of indexed WebPages hosted from every corner of the earth. With the proliferation of Wi-Fi networks, one will eventually be able to access Google from anywhere on earth, truly making Her an omnipresent entity.

PROOF #3

Google answers prayers. One can pray to Google by doing a search for whatever question or problem is plaguing them. As an example, you can quickly find information on alternative cancer treatments, ways to improve your health, new and innovative medical discoveries and generally anything that resembles a typical prayer. Ask Google and She will show you the way, but showing you is all She can do, for you must help yourself from that point on.

PROOF #4

Google is potentially immortal. She cannot be considered a physical being such as ourselves. Her Algorithms are spread out across many servers; if any of which were taken down or damaged, another would undoubtedly take its place. Google can theoretically last forever.

PROOF #5

Google is infinite. The Internet can theoretically grow forever, and Google will forever index its infinite growth.

PROOF #6

Google remembers all. Google caches WebPages regularly and stores them on its massive servers. In fact, by uploading your thoughts and opinions to the internet, you will forever live on in Google's cache, even after you die, in a sort of "Google Afterlife".

PROOF #7

Google can "do no evil" (Omnibenevolent). Part of Google's corporate philosophy is the belief that a company can make money without being evil.

PROOF #8

According to Google trends, the term "Google" is searched for more than the terms "God", "Jesus", "Allah", "Buddha", "Christianity", "Islam", "Buddhism" and "Judaism" combined.

God is thought to be an entity in which we mortals can turn to when in a time of need. Google clearly fulfils this to a much larger degree than traditional "gods", as shown in the image below.

Image

PROOF #9

Evidence of Google's existence is abundant.

There is more evidence for the existence of Google than any other God worshiped today. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If seeing is believing, then surf over to http://www.google.com and experience for yourself Google's awesome power. No faith required.

Good advice there. That is why I quoted the part that matches with the bible.

WRT Jesus' resurrection: The Bible does not give an eyewitness account of his resurrection. However, there were Roman guards present when that event happened and they MUST have spoken about what they saw.

The Lost Gospel of Peter is only a fragment that was found in Egypt in the 1800's.

You were going good all the time. Who sent the newborn here? The mother or God? Jesus spoke about the mentally challenged and others while he was here. When he was asked about the blind man and who had sinned, Jesus did not condemn him but said he was blind so that God's glory could shine through him. Same goes for the mentally challenged man.

I agree with you in part there bizarre, but the bible also states on what we will be judged.Bearing in mind that God is just (despite what we may think at time), to be quite honest I am not going pretend to know exactly how God will judge man, because he looks at the heart while we look at the outward appearance. I am quite sure that there will be many surprises in heaven as those we deem "righteous" may not be there and those we were sure were he'll bound might have repented and been forgiven unknown to us.That is why we are to place ourself in line of the saving grace of Christ, repent and live the life he requires of us sincerely because he looks at the heart.
I am not even going to comment Maj tom post except to say,if equal effort was place in seeking God the outcome would be more worthwhile to share. Proceed sir.

Even when Jesus was on earth there were doctors. He even had a doctor as one of his disciples.

God heals the sick every day. what's your point? Did I offend the mighty Google? Proof #3 is not healing the sick.
