Didn't they ask you to enter your c/card billing info? How did you get around that?
DJ Q wrote:If you're with scotia bank, they can issue you a US address.
I already have a few US addresses added as the billing address on my card, but I think the issue is that the card was not issued in the US. Does the scotia bank solution get around this?

^ no. I have a US address on my scotia credit card and I use it to purchase online at places like amazon however apple does not accept this card for iCloud.

I think it's a hit and miss issue - some people get through and some dont. I'm sure there is a specific reason (could be if the bank enters the address as primary or secondary) but I havent figured it out yet.

Would this be a good but for the price to put into a base model 2013 Mac mini? The regular drive will be used as an external storage unit

Ok well if some have gotten through, that hit and miss seems to be the only way to get through, as the more I research it seems there isn't a way without a US issued c/card.

IIRC apple still takes orders but it dependent on the Skybox address.

Wrt macmall, good luck! Dealt with them a time via Amazon and never wish to even see their name again. They even stinker than newegg wrt TT CC.

Tried to purchase a 16GB iPad Air on Black Friday for $457.99 US (no taxes) from MacMall, ended up cancelling the order today because of the amount of run around. Order was placed on hold due to not being able to ship to a skybox address. Organised with family in FL to receive item and drop it off at my skybox, then they told me that it's a non-US CC, and I need to send a wire transfer. Wasn't worth the trouble.

Would've cost about $3,000 landed total. Anyone know where is the best price I can get one locally? I think iWorld has them for about $3700, which isn't bad...

Try amazon instead? I don't bother with apple for most stuff as they usually more expensive than amazon and also don't like skyboxes as you've found out. Amazon just wants your money. Plain and simple.

Yeah ordered an iPad 4 last year from MacMall, had to do the same and ship it family in the states. Problem was that MacMall does not ship to freight forwarders. Good place to order from if you don't want to pay US taxes tho.

PayPal launches digital gift card store, boasts iTunes as its first partner

Image

PayPal must not have been content to let you add pre-paid gift cards to your digital wallet, because now it's selling them directly. The online-payment juggernaut is kicking off this new program (dubbed PayPal Digital Gifts) with none other than iTunes, whose digital gift certificates come in $15, $25, $50 and $100 denominations. With this, the firm hopes to streamline online gift-card giving while adding its trademark layer of security for good measure. The company admits the digital storefront is a bit sparse at the moment, but says it will be announcing more partners soon. Unfortunately, the offer is only available in the US, space tourists will have to shop elsewhere.

Have a question, more concerning the Facebook for iPhone app, but thought I'd ask here anyway.
Friend has a problem where she can only share something to her wall via the app, but to others using the desktop version. Trying to allow it that she could share to other people's wall via the app as well.
I checked a bunch of potential reasons but not making any headway.

Thanks

Sync all your stuff to outlook
Sync iPhone to outlook
All music to playlist in iTunes

That's how I did it.
